常州石蠟澆鑄制造蠟模使用的蠟一般是蘭色的模型白臘，其消融溫度在60℃左右，注蠟溫度在65℃左右。還有一些其他顏色的白臘，性質略有不同。蠟溫及打針壓力是由注蠟機決議的。注蠟機的類別一般有風壓式和真空式兩種。這兩種注蠟機的注蠟原理根本類似，就是使用氣壓將熔融狀態的蠟注入膠模。兩者的區別在于真空式注蠟機能夠先將膠模抽真空，在向膠模注蠟；而風壓式注蠟機只能直接向膠模注蠟。所以一般操作以真空式注蠟機比較簡單掌握，而風壓式注蠟機則需要具有必定的經歷。

The wax used in making wax models is usually blue model paraffin. Its melting temperature is about 60 C and the injection temperature is about 65 C. There are also some other colors of paraffin, which are slightly different in nature. Wax temperature and injection pressure are determined by wax injection machine. There are two types of wax injection machines: air pressure type and vacuum type. The wax injection principle of the two wax injection machines is basically similar, that is, the melted wax is injected into the rubber mold by air pressure. The difference between the two is that the vacuum wax injector can vacuum the rubber mould first and inject wax into the rubber mould, while the air-pressure wax injector can only inject wax directly into the rubber mould. So it is easy to operate vacuum wax injector, while air pressure wax injector needs some experience.

常州石蠟澆鑄注蠟機中的加熱器和感溫器能夠使蠟液達到并堅持必定的溫度。一般注蠟機中蠟的溫度應該堅持在70~75℃之間，這樣的溫度能夠確保蠟液的流動性。假如溫度過低，蠟液不易注滿蠟模，形成蠟模的殘缺；反之蠟液溫度過高，又會導致蠟液從膠?？p隙處溢出或從注蠟口溢出，簡單形成飛邊或燙壞手指。

The heater and thermoscope in the wax injection machine can make wax liquid reach and maintain a certain temperature. Usually the temperature of wax in the wax injection machine should be kept between 70 and 75 degrees Celsius, which can ensure the fluidity of wax liquid. If the temperature is too low, the wax liquid is not easy to fill the wax mold, resulting in the wax mold defects; conversely, the wax liquid temperature is too high, which will cause the wax liquid to overflow from the gap of the rubber mold or from the wax injection mouth, easy to form flash or burn fingers.

常州石蠟澆鑄注蠟機蠟筒內的壓力是由外接氣泵供給的,一般應該堅持在0.5~0.7at(或kgf/cm2)即0.051~0.071Bar之間,也能夠依據蠟模的體積和雜亂程度進行恰當的調整。

The pressure in wax drum of wax injection machine is provided by external air pump. It should be kept between 0.5 and 0.7at (or kgf/cm2), i.e. 0.051 to 0.071Bar. It can also be adjusted appropriately according to the size and complexity of wax mould.
